Product Authenticity & Condition
All items sold by Ayer are carefully inspected and sourced through trusted channels. Many of our luxury goods are sourced directly from Japan, where resale standards and authentication practices are among the highest in the world.
Pre-owned and vintage items may show signs of wear consistent with age and prior use. These characteristics are part of their history and are not considered defects. We strive to photograph and describe each item accurately so you can make an informed purchase.

Custom Refurbished & One-of-a-Kind Pieces
Custom refurbished, redesigned, or made-to-order items are one-of-a-kind and final sale. Due to their unique nature, these pieces cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded under any circumstances.

Orders & Processing
Orders are processed within 2–5 business days. Custom or refurbished items may require additional processing time; estimated timelines will be noted on the product page.
We reserve the right to cancel or delay any order if additional verification is required.

Shipping & Delivery
All orders are shipped using trackable carriers. Signature confirmation is required for high-value orders.
Ayer is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather conditions, or customs processing.
Once an order has shipped, responsibility transfers to the carrier. All shipments are insured for their purchase value.

International Orders
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees imposed by their country. These fees are not included in the purchase price or shipping cost.
Ayer is not responsible for delays, seizures, or additional charges resulting from customs clearance.

Returns & Refunds
Due to the nature of luxury resale, vintage, and custom refurbished items, all sales are final.
We do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for:

Minor wear consistent with pre-owned or vintage condition

Exceptions
Returns may be considered only if the item received is materially different from its description or if the incorrect item was sent. Claims must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery with supporting photos.
Approved returns must be shipped back in original condition with all packaging intact. Unauthorized reminders will not be accepted.

Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages
If a package arrives damaged or is lost in transit, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos so we may assist with an insurance claim.
Ayer is not responsible for packages marked as delivered by the carrier.

Cancellations
Orders cannot be canceled once they have been processed or shipped.

Fraud Prevention & Chargebacks
Ayer actively monitors transactions for fraud. Orders may be subject to verification prior to shipment.
Unauthorized chargebacks or disputes filed without contacting Ayer first may result in account suspension and permanent purchasing bans. We retain detailed records for dispute resolution.

Every order is securely packaged, tracked, and insured during shipment
If an item is found to be not authentic or materially misrepresented, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with supporting documentation. In such cases, Ayer will work with you to resolve the issue, which may include a return or refund at our discretion.
